“ This is a must visit when in Tulsa! Several friends suggested that we go here and they were right. A little challenging, getting an answer during the day, but once we did, we were able to secure a reservation time our server was genuine, engaging and had a great knowledge of everything on the menu. We started with a slice of bacon with steak sauce. Smoky and delicious. I had a wedge salad. The amount of dressing is perfect not overdressed as you'll find in most other restaurants. I had the petite fillet, which was more than enough along with a side of lobster mac & cheese. That dish is decadent. We finished off the meal with the Nearly foot tall ice cream pie. I don't think we finished more than about a quarter of it, but it was worth it. The space is tucked inside an alley with low lights and lots of candles to help find your way. I will return every time I get into the Tulsa area. ”
“ The place is fun to find, especially in the dark. That wasn't sarcasm. Great place on the inside. Spencer was a good waiter. He may have been a little bit too excited, didn't read the table well, but he did a great job with everything but refilling the drinks. Everything there is slow. Reservation @ 7, sat @ 7:15. No menus for at least 30 minutes & the drinks probably take 20. The soup probably took 10 minutes, it was okay & the worst part of the meal. The place wouldn't be so hard to get a seat at if you could get in & out in under an hour, hour 15. Everyone was wonderful. I keep reading that the food was good, but not great & overpriced. I have to disagree. Maybe it's the fact that you wait an hour before getting your food, but the steaks are super tender & juicy. It was of the better steaks I've ever had. The potato dish was also one of the best potato dishes I've ever had. I kept asking for a dessert menu, but the check came instead. I did mention that it was my birthday so I got two small chocolate pieces & champagne. It was fine, but I was still hungry for whatever reason & would have bought a real desert. I thought it was reasonably priced for what I got. From what I heard I thought it would be double what I paid. The ambiance was terrific, but have some subjects to talk about ready because you'll be waiting & waiting & waiting. I almost wish there were TVs. Is it worth being patient? Yes, if you're not super hungry. ”
“ Amazing experience! Food was so delicious and the service was fantastic!! The restaurant felt just like a speakeasy once we requested the pop music be switched. Such a fantastic night!!! ”
“ Versatile speakeasy. Great place for a date or a night out with your pops for drink and a chat. They have a live piano player on some days to set the vibe ”
“ We visited Bull in The Alley last Saturday 10/26. We've heard a lot of great things about the restaurant and finally got to experience it for ourselves. Everyone was really friendly and attentive. The service was top notch. The bar attendants went over the menu and specials and carefully explained some of the options. The drinks were fantastic and the oysters were fresh! After our meal, we ordered crème brûlée for desert and it was amazing. The manager came to check on us several times, I could tell that they really care about their guests! Big shout out to the pianist too! Live music definitely contributed to creating a pleasant experience! We will be back soon! ”
“ So the restaurant is pretty upscale. The menu is very limited. And it's not even available on their website. They had three entrees available with two additional cuts of meats tonight. No cocktail list either, but it is a full bar. The concept of not informing us of what the price is on the specials, or what the cocktail prices are without asking gives off elite to me... but hey--to each its own! We had a party of four and went for the porterhouse, potatoes and Brussel sprouts, and we left happy. Not necessarily full, but content. The porterhouse was divine--melted in your mouth and very juicy. The sides were good, but nothing that stood out. The service was fine as well. We sat down and we weren't handed menus immediately. We sat down, got water poured, waited about 5-10 min for a waiter to come to us, then were offered menus. The wait was also a bit, we sat down at 530p and our meal wasn't brought to us until 615p. It ended up being rather affordable, at about 40$ a person due to the split. It's definitely a more fancy type of place. They had live music playing as well. ”
“ This place is amazing! Every dish we had was delicious. We started with the seafood tower, then split the salmon and ribeye. We loved our server and drinks. Very romantic atmosphere with soft live music in the background. ”
“ Great ambiance and excellent service! The bacon was good, excellent flavor and good fatty bits. The table steak was good with the garlic confit, but would've been even better with more seasoning or herbal enhancements. The burgundy mushrooms were good, pretty much what you expect from a side of burgundy mushrooms. I've had better food for similar or less prices elsewhere so I can't give it 5 stars. Worth going to if you want a romantic, simple dining experience. It's not surprising in its execution, just a good version of what you'd expect. ”
“ Great spot to pop-in randomly at the bar. There were a few spots open on a Monday at 7pm for the two of us. During the holidays, it's nice to sit by the Christmas tree on the NW side of the bar for a fun view. They are one of the few places in town that services sparkling rosè. Each glass comes from an individual sized bottle that is popped when ordered, so it's always fresh. The crab cake appetizers made for a delicious light dinner along with their yummy loaded brussels. I love the darkness of this place. The only reason for 4 stars is bar service was really slow with two bartenders and it wasn't packed. ”
“ This place folks - just look at the pictures...it is such a great little place in Tulsa. And yes...it's literally in an "alley". But always (such) a transformation, when you open the front door! The food....everything (except the Brussel sprouts this night) is exceptional. From appetizers, to mains, sides and desert....it's all fantastically prepared. Service....always spot on. And folks have the elevated/comfortable interaction feeling (to them or about them). Atmosphere....again, smaller and so cozy/comfortable. And the gentleman in the piano...which is up in bar....he really tops the place off and brings it all together! You'll pay up at this place. But I'm sure you already know this - if you're looking at place like this. It's a gem if Tulsa...no doubt at all... ”
